Terms of Service

By using WebMailTemp you agree to these terms. They're brief — please actually read them.

1. The service

WebMailTemp provides disposable, receive-only email inboxes that expire automatically after 30 minutes. The service is provided free of charge, without registration, on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use WebMailTemp to:

• violate any law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others;
• harass, defraud, or impersonate any person or entity;
• create accounts on services in violation of their terms, or evade bans, in an abusive or automated manner;
• receive material you are not legally permitted to possess;
• probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or access other users' inboxes.

We may block addresses, patterns, or traffic that we judge abusive, at our sole discretion and without notice.

3. No guarantee of delivery or availability

Email is a best-effort system and this is a free service. We do not guarantee that any particular message will be received, that inboxes will be available at any given time, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Do not use WebMailTemp for anything important. Accounts registered with a temporary address cannot receive password resets after the inbox expires.

4. Ephemerality

All inbox data is deleted automatically at expiry and is unrecoverable. We are not liable for any loss arising from expired or deleted messages — disappearing is the product working as intended.

5. Intellectual property

The WebMailTemp name, design, and code are our property. Content of emails you receive remains the property of its senders.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebMailTemp and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the service (which, for the free tier, is zero).

7. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the service, or update these terms, at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
